Changing the Order of Menu Items

The order of content appearing in menus (i.e., the left navigation sidebar) is determined by each item's weight. When assigning content to a menu, users can select a weight for the menu item. The weight of each item determines its place in the menu, with "heavier" items sitting lower in the menu.

To rearrange the items in a certain order, you may need to change the weight of multiple pieces of content.

This feature applies to Landing Pages, Basic Pages, and Campus Services and Resources Pages.

Assigning/Changing Weight

• Open the Editor for your content. See Accessing the Page Editor.
• On the toolbar on the right side of the page, click “Menu Options”.
• Type or use the arrow buttons to enter a value in the "Weight" field.
• Change the "Save As" field at the bottom of the page to "Published" and click "Save".
