Saving Content as a Draft

Drupal offers the ability to save content as a draft in order to return to your work later without publishing the changes you have made. To save your content as a draft:

  1. Make the changes you need to your piece of content
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page to the "Save As:" field and select Draft from the drop-down menu.
  3. Click "Save", and you will be redirected to a preview of your page.

Note that the publication status of your page will not change when saving as a draft. If saving a new, never-published page as a draft, the page will remain unpublished and invisible on the public website. If saving a previously published page as a draft, the version of the page from before your saved draft will remain published and visible.
