Deleting Content

When content is unpublished, all data from the page is retained in Drupal to be edited and republished at a later date. Drupal also offers the ability to delete content permanently.

Please note that deleting content is permanent, and can't be undone. To remove content from the public website without deleting it permanently, see Unpublishing Content.

To delete content:

  1. Navigate to the Content Editor for the content you wish to delete.
  2. Click the "Delete" tab at the top of the page.
  3. Make sure you really, really want to delete this content!
  4. Click "Delete".
